Is THE SACRIFICERS #7 Good?
In the previous issue, Soluna, the daughter of King Rokonos and a former concubine, Luna,, followed an alchemist to discover the source of the Elixir granting gods renewing power. She learned that the Elixir was extracted from the minds of sacrificers, horrifying her. Soluna was captured by the alchemist, but with the help of Pigeon, she managed to escape, albeit weakened from the loss of her godly magic.
Issue #7 begins with villages facing devastation from uncontrollable tides, a result of Luna’s departure from controlling the tides after a confrontation with King Rokonos. Meanwhile, Soluna is on the run from hunters and guards, replaying a conversation with her mother about destiny and fate. She encounters toxic fruit, leading to an encounter with a sinister entity that takes her over.
