Is It Good?
MAN GOAT & THE BUNNYMAN: GREEN EGGS & BLAM! #3 ends the arc with an explosive ending with loads of action, heart, and cryptids to satisfy your conspiracy-loving heart. There are a few flaws, to be sure, but this issue is a reasonably satisfying conclusion.
The bright spot in Brusha’s script is the balls-to-the-wall action and creativity that goes into fleshing out Floyd’s origins and Dr. Jackendoff’s master plan. Brusha swings for the fences in this conclusion, and the net result is a deeper understanding of the threats that exist in the multiverse, a better understanding of Floyd’s capabilities, and a final battle that doesn’t pull any punches.
The down point is the stilted dialog through the majority of the issue. Characters are talking at each other rather than with each other, so the dialog sounds like a person reading lines rather than a natural verbal exchange. The rhythm of the dialog doesn’t flow, so you get a staccato delivery that feels stiff.
Tarragona’s art is very good in this issue. The action is packed full of energy and movement. The small amounts of blood and gore fit within the action, and Pereyra’s colors are gorgeous.

Read our MAN GOAT & THE BUNNYMAN: GREEN EGGS & BLAM! #2 review to find out how Floyd was captured.
We begin with Floy and his adoptive mother, Rachel, trapped in Dr. Jackendoff’s holding room. Rachel, believing this is the end of the line for both of them, reveals where Floyd’s people came from, how Floyd’s people came into conflict with the Dogmen, and how she became Floyd’s “mother.”
Later, Dr. Jackendoff brings Floyd into a throne chamber where he expects Floyd to take part in a ritual that was prophecied years ago. An offspring between the Dogmen and Bunnymen will lead the Dogmen to ultimate victory, so Floyd has been chosen to do his part. Dr. Jackendoff opens a portal to an alternate dimension where the Dogmen King, Queen, and Princess emerge to take part in the ritual. Unfortunately, the main course of the celebration banquet is Phil and Floyd’s friends.
We conclude the issue with a change of heart, Floyd’s performance anxiety, and an important secret.

Final Thoughts
(Click this link 👇 to order this comic)
MAN GOAT & THE BUNNYMAN: GREEN EGGS & BLAM! #3 is a solid albeit imperfect ending to the arc with an expansion on the Bunnyman lore, oodles of action, and a feel-good ending that leaves the door open for more adventures. However, the dialog is very stiff, dampening the reading experience.

What are cryptic animals?
Cryptic animals are two or more closely-related species that were at one time classified as the same species due to their close similarities. For example, the African Elephant and the African Bush Elephant were until recently classified as the same species, but genetic testing reveals they are two separate groups.
