Was It Good?
[Author’s note: This will be the shortest review we’ve ever written.]
Do you like John Wick (2014)? I like John Wick (2014).
This comic is John Wick (2014) but rearranged so that John is the one who gets killed and the dog is out for revenge. I’m not kidding. It’s not an homage to the film. It’s not loosely inspired by the film. In terms of look, feel, and pure badassery, this is John Wick (2014) in an alternate reality where anthropomorphic animals live alongside humans and the dog is the lone survivor.
It’s all here. The backstory about a retired uber assassin from an Assassin’s Guild. An underground stash of weapons. The coins used as currency among the guild members. The suit and tie. All of it.
If you like John Wick (2014) in an alternate reality where none of the violence is neutered (*ahem*), you’ll like this comic. It’s crazy cool fun, and it’ll put a smile on your face.

It’s John Wick (2014) as a dog. It’s fun. Go buy it.
Final Thoughts
GOOD BOY #1 re-imagines John Wick (2014) where the dog survives and goes on an assassin killing spree. It’s not sorta in the same vein as John Wick (2014). It’s almost an exact reproduction of John Wick (2014). It sounds silly, but it’s not. It’s badass. Go buy it!
Score: 8.5/10
