Is WORMS CRAWL OUT Good?
In the previous graphic novel, “Worms Crawl In,” we followed Delane, a troubled medium, and her companion Marco, a soul trapped in a corpse’s body. Together, they traveled to haunted places, freeing trapped souls. However, their journey took a dark turn when they encountered Rohan, leading to violence and Marco’s destruction. Left alone, Delane grapples with grief and existential angst while still wielding her powers to communicate with the dead.
In “Worms Crawl Out,” Delane seeks the help of paranormal researchers Parker and Jordan to rescue Marco from his fate in Hell. With their assistance, Delane navigates the afterlife, encountering various tormented souls and confronting the true nature of Hell. Meanwhile, Parker and Jordan face their own challenges, including a confrontation with a dark wizard named Slurpy.
“Worms Crawl Out” offers a unique interpretation of Hell, focusing on personal suffering rather than traditional fire and brimstone. The graphic novel spans about 85 pages, offering readers a substantial narrative for their investment.
