Was It Good?
KATFIGHT VS. NOTTI & NYCE has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. It’s nothing more than an excuse for fetishized, scantily clad women to beat each other up. However, if you’re the target audience for this comic, it’s perfect.
Herein lies the balancing act of reviewing a comic and recognizing that it’s meant for a very specific audience, something we’ve had to do many times on this site. As a guess, this comic is intended for readers who like to watch beautiful women wearing very little clothing get rough. There’s nothing wrong with that type of content, just know that’s the likely target audience.
The plot is as thin as the lead characters’ outfits. Notti & Nyce worm their way into a historical site to steal a precious artifact. Katfight parachutes into the site on the same day and same time to steal the same artifact. The resulting conflict involves both “teams” fighting the guards and then each other to get to the prize. If there’s a down point to the already thin plot, it’s that there really isn’t a story here. The setup is a barely-there excuse to pit these teams against each other. Without the pretense of stealing a precious object, you might as well be watching a professional wrestling match.
So, if this isn’t the type of comic you buy for the story, all the weight of its value comes down to the art. “How is the art?”, you ask. It’s excellent. The action is bare-knuckle-brawling gritty. The women are gorgeous (of course) as they acrobatically fight in outfits that have no business staying in place to cover their jiggly bits. The linework is crisp and clean. And, the coloring is outstanding. Speaking strictly in terms of art quality, this is one of the best indie comics we’ve received in quite some time. The art holds up to anything coming out from the big publishers, and that’s the strongest praise we can give.

What’s It About?
[SPOILERS AHEAD – Click here if you just want the score without spoilers]
Truly, if you’ve made it this far, you’ve already got the gist of it.
Notti & Nyce sneak into a historical site to steal Genghis Khan’s white leopard-skin coat. A priceless artifact. Katfight parachutes in at the same time for the same reason. Why do both teams want the coat? It’s never fully explained, and honestly, who cares.
Both teams make their way through the site, killing guards along the way until the competing thieves eventually cross paths outside the chamber where the coat is on display.
And then they fight.

Final Thoughts
KATFIGHT VS. NOTTI & NYCE is the type of comic you buy for the art and ignore the story. The action is fierce. The women are as gorgeous as they are dangerous. And the art is some of the highest quality from any publisher, including the Big 2. That said, this issue exists only to give scantily clad women an excuse to fight, so if that sounds appealing, this comic is perfect for you.
