Is HOLMES & HOUDINI #3 Good?
In the previous issue, Holmes and Houdini were captured by NolEn Savoy and subjected to his strange mind-extracting program called Project Grey Matter. Savoy also obtained both halves of a powerful artifact from the Order’s headquarters in Scotland, which grants control over water in all its forms. Now, Holmes and Houdini find themselves on the run, pursued by an army of armed drones controlled by Savoy.
In this issue, we’re given a flashback to the origins of Sherlock Holmes and Harry Houdini as members of the Order, a group tasked with safeguarding powerful artifacts. Holmes, Watson, and Houdini come together to decipher mysterious texts and build arcane devices, but eventually, their partnership falters, leading to the Order’s dormancy.
In the present conflict, Holmes and Houdini must thwart Savoy’s plans, which involve using his newfound power over water to manipulate world leaders and unleash devastating floods. Despite Savoy’s grandiose promises of water treatment for drought-stricken regions, his actions lead to chaos and destruction.
The comic provides insight into the origins of the Order and its members, shedding light on their motivations and abilities.

What did we like about HOLMES & HOUDINI #3?
