Is It Good?
Boy, Howdy! This series really can do no wrong because every moment is crafted to deliver slick, sharp, popping entertainment, and GOOD BOY (VOL. 3) #3 is no exception. The Good Boy series is the gift that just keeps on giving.
There is not a single flaw to be found in this issue. The dialog snaps harder than a two-inch rubber band stretched to two feet. The action is popping (literally and figuratively). The character moments between father and son speak volumes without saying a (direct) word, and the cliffhanger is ripe with promise.
Are we gushing over this comic? Yes, and rightfully so. It’s unbelievable that more readers aren’t buzzing about this series.
There’s not much to say other than this issue, much like the series as a whole, is one of the best of the year.

Check out our GOOD BOY (VOL. 3) #2 review to find out how Grizzly Sparks joined the hunt.
We begin with Flint Sparks tied to a chair in a warehouse when Mis Vadicci arrives. She plans to make Flint pay for the loss of her brother and nephew, and nothing says “payback” like some good old-fashioned torture.
Soon, the festivities are interrupted by a precisely-delivered sniper bullet. The scene quickly spirals into chaos with gun fights, explosions, escape rooms, knowing nods, and a phone call that spells big trouble.
