Is ELVIRA MEETS H.P. LOVECRAFT #3 Good?
In the previous issue, Elvira and H.P. Lovecraft ventured to Arkham University to retrieve the supposed Necronomicon. Upon arrival, they encountered a deceitful librarian who sought to use the book for nefarious purposes. However, they discovered that the book was a fake, leading them to realize that H.P.’s old acquaintance, October Grendel, likely possessed the real one.
In the latest installment, the story kicks off with three acolytes of Nyarlathotep realizing the Necronomicon they acquired is a counterfeit. Determined to locate the genuine article, Nyarlathotep directs them to track Elvira and H.P. Meanwhile, Elvira and H.P. navigate Grendel’s booby-trapped home in search of the book. They confront Grendel, who has prepared for their arrival by summoning night gaunts from the Dreamland. Despite their capture, H.P. strikes a deal with Grendel to use the book against Nyarlathotep. However, chaos ensues as Nyarlathotep and his acolytes breach Grendel’s home, leading to a climactic showdown.
