Is DARKSTALKERS: JEDAH #1 Good?
The issue begins with a prologue where Jedah Dohma narrates his whereabouts and ambitions within the realm known as the Makai. He aims to take over Earth, which is separate from the Makai by a dimensional membrane. He faces competition from another entity known as Shadow Soul.
The story unfolds with a scene at a space station orbiting Earth where two astronauts discover Dimitri Maximoff trapped in a block of ice. Meanwhile, Jedah attempts to break through a portal separating Makai and Earth, leading to a confrontation with a possessed Catwoman who holds the spirit of Shadow Soul. Chaos erupts in Chicago as demons spew out of the portal Jedah opened to travers between realms but didn’t close before he was attacked, prompting Cammy White and her team to intervene.
