Is ARMY OF DARKNESS FOREVER #7 Good?
In the previous issue, future Ash assembled the Necronomicon according to the wise man’s instructions, only to summon a demonic baby instead. This revelation exposes the wise man’s allegiance to evil Ash, leaving future Ash deceived and stranded.
In Army of Darkness Forever #7, Ash grapples with the demonic baby while facing the consequences of the wise man’s betrayal. Flashbacks reveal the wise man’s possession by the Necronomicon, leading him to summon evil Ash back to life. Meanwhile, in 1993, Ash is confronted by the military, caught in a battle between the living and the undead. In the Dark Ages, Lady Sheila rallies the remaining soldiers to attack Evil Ash and the Wiseman whose now succumbed to the influence of the Necronomicon.
Pop Mhan takes over art duties from Justin Greenwood in this issue. Future Ash learns of three Necronomicons scattered across the globe.

What did we like about ARMY OF DARKNESS FOREVER #7?
The story’s multiple timelines provide engaging conflicts, particularly in the Dark Ages and future timelines. Sheila’s struggle against evil Ash and the holy man adds depth to the narrative.
What didn’t we like about ARMY OF DARKNESS FOREVER #7?
The 1993 timeline feels disconnected from the overarching plot, lacking cohesion with the other timelines. The absence of a clear connection diminishes its impact on the story.
How’s the Art?
While transitioning from Justin Greenwood to Pop Mhan, the art maintains consistent quality. Character designs capture the essence of the film counterparts, though stylistic differences are noticeable. Overall, the artwork effectively conveys action and character emotions.

ARMY OF DARKNESS FOREVER #7 delivers thrilling action and intriguing developments, particularly in the past and future timelines. However, the disjointed 1993 timeline detracts from the overall coherence of the narrative. Despite the artist change, the quality remains steady.
